The rugged geology and natural beauty of the Bay of Fundy wilderness was the inspiration for the creation of the 41-km (25-mi.) Fundy Footpath, whose unique ecosystem can only be appreciated on foot, in the ambience of the Bay of Fundy microclimate. The trails connect to paths and stairways that lead us to pristine beaches and tumbling waterfalls, Precambrian rocks, and 820 foot cliffs that tower at the water’s edge. This challenging 3-5 day hike follows along the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline on the Eastern Seaboard.
